Grand unveiling of a new logo for Sapphira
As you can see in the before and after images of the Sapphira logo, I have updated the Sapphira Logo to incorporate an attractive sapphire graphic to replace the redundant and insignificant, double diagonals “//”, which separate the words Salon and Spa underneath Sapphira. The logic behind the inclusion of the sapphire graphic in the Sapphira logo is easy to understand when you consider that in Hebrew the meaning of the name Sapphira refers to the sapphire gemstone and simply means precious or beautiful.
The sapphire carries with it the blue symbolism of importance and confidence. Although it's not a light or pastel blue, it still has something of a fresh, spring-like quality with a touch of childlike playfulness. Deeper sapphire blues carry the connotation of wealth, elegance, beauty, and royalty. Traditionally the sapphire gemstone, and by extension, the color sapphire, symbolizes truth and sincerity and the suggestive positive symbolisms and meaning are now clearly associated with the new Sapphira brand.
The new look is simple, modern and sophisticated at the same time. The colors chosen for the site really make the new logo “pop” off of the olive green background and the blue sapphire graphic sparkles and contrasts well against the green. The update to the logo is not too drastic and the existing Sapphira customers will easily recognize the logo as belonging to Sapphira. The update has added some much needed class and sophistication to the logo and is a welcome change from the original logo, which seems mundane and boring in comparison to the new one. The updated logo instantly appears more attractive for use in the new Sapphira Website.
